Brandon Leahy is a graduate of Bastyr University's Masters of Science in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine program. While attending Bastyr University, Brandon's studies included internal medicine, OBGYN, pain management, and general cancer therapies. His clinical experience included time at the Bastyr Center for Natural Health, where he saw a myriad of different disease including COPD, Stroke, Anxiety and Depression, and Chronic Pain. He also studied and practiced at other clinics including:
Brandon is also educated in Tai Chi, Qi Gong (meditation), and various forms of Chinese Massage called Tui Na (two-ay nah).
In his spare time, Brandon enjoys photography, cooking, music, the great outdoors, biking, and watching the Sounders FC.
Brandon's Clinical Experience Includes:
The Immune Wellness Clinic - focusing on the treatment of AIDS/HIV and the host of disease seen in those patients including Jaundice, Kaposi's Sarcoma, and the side effects of Auto Immune pharmaceuticals
Harborview Medical Center - Chronic Fatigue and Fibromyalgia Clinic: Focusing on the delicate treatment of Chronic Fatigue Disorder and Fibromyalgia
Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine: A intensive externship where he studied at several different hospitals in different departments including cardiology, endocrinology, oncology, respiratory, and OBGYN. The externship also included afternoon lectures by doctors from the hospitals and Shanghai University, teaching about advanced research and formulas for many of the disease we see today including Diabetes II and Liver Cirrhosis.
Puget Sound Neighborhood Clinics: various community clinics including Rainer Park and Highpoint where the focus was on the immigrant population and working with medical interpreters. This also includes Mt. Sait Vincent Retirement Center where the focus was on treating geriatric diseases and those with severe disabilities
